You have such a beautifully developed style. You always are so sure of what you are doing. I wish I could bring my own beauty and originality to a crocodile just as you do. For now, I'll just have to look to you for inspiration. This is great! I just love the way you use lines and shapes to communicate the character's personality. It takes talent and skill!!
Aw man, what a cutie ;u;! Great character, full of expression. The colors came out super neat on this? There's so much texture and variegation, it is quite delicious and so very charming. I also think you did really well on his design; this guy has a lot of weight to him, and I can just imagine how he might move around.
As others have said, the stylization is fantastic! I absolutely love how you incorporated textures in this! And the earth tones are fabulous! I'd like to see other characters (if you create more for your class) that you produce in this similar style.
yup, im an illustration major this class (so far) is about designing characters and backgrounds for children's books, but we also learn a lot about publishers, types of contracts, and the writing that goes along with the story itself. im only two weeks into the semester, so im sure there is a lot more i havent listed its loads of fun though. my teacher is kelly murphy, if you have time check out her stuff, its amazing
